Privacy
My Luck Today is a game for entertainment only. You must be 13 or older to use it.
What we store
- Your birthday, for your sign and a small nudge to your daily luck. It is never shown to anyone.
- The name you pick, your daily readings and your streak.
- Your avatar, saved as a short code of the parts you picked. We never ask for a photo.
- Your clovers and the things you unlock with them.
- Your language (English or Spanish), so the site and emails match.
- Your email address and a scrambled (hashed) password, only if you create an account. Nobody can read your password, including us.
- If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your email address and name. We only use them to sign you in. We never see your Google password.
- Whether you want the daily reminder email. It's off unless you turn it on, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- If you turn on notifications, the address your browser gives us to send them (it doesn't identify you). Turn them off anytime in your profile.
- When you take someone's challenge, they see your name and score in their inbox.
- Birthday box: the message you write and your name if you add one. Anonymous messages show no name to the owner.
Compatibility checks
- When you open a friend's compatibility link, you enter a name and a birthday. Your birthday is only used to work out the match and is not stored. Your friend sees the name you typed, your sign and your score.
- When you check someone yourself, their birthday is also only used for the check and is not stored. If you send them the result, we keep just that result (names, signs, scores and a few fun facts) so the link works.
- Only check someone you know, and only with their okay.
Payments
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- When you buy something we keep what you bought, when, and how much you paid, so it shows up in your account. For Lucky+ we also keep your Stripe customer number, so you can manage or cancel it.
- For a Deep compatibility report, the other person's birthday is used to build the report and is not stored. We keep only a one-way code made from it, so the report you bought opens again when you type the same birthday.
- Stripe keeps its own record of every payment, as the law requires. See stripe.com/privacy.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people use the site. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you.
Cookies and storage on your device
We don't use ad or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps a few things so the site works: your sign-in, your language choice and small settings like which calendar view you like. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're not a robot on your first visit and when you sign in.
What others can see
Anyone with your challenge or compatibility link can see your name and your latest score. Anyone with a match link you sent can see that result. Friends you add (both of you have to agree, or they used your link) see your name, avatar, sign, today's luck, your streak and the reactions you send them. You can remove a friend anytime. Nobody can see your birthday or your email.
Where it lives
Your data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) in the United States. The site runs on Vercel, emails are sent through Resend, Google handles Google sign-in and Stripe handles payments. We don't sell your data.
Deleting your data
Go to Your profile and tap “Delete my data”. Your account, readings, streak, inbox, matches, avatar, clovers, unlocked items, reports and friends are removed right away and can't be brought back. Cancel Lucky+ first so you aren't charged again.
